About Betty
Betty Simpson, a native of Mississippi, is a licensed and ordained evangelist, teacher, minister, intercessor, mentor and author. Betty began working in the vineyard of the Lord in 1999 when she was ordained as an evangelist.
Betty is currently a minister and member of Glory Revival Center in Madison Mississippi. Previously, Betty was a charter member, minister and Sunday school superintendent and teacher at Makarios Worship Center in Canton, Mississippi. Prior to that, Betty was certified as a lay speaker and was appointed as lay leader at Anderson United Methodist Church in Jackson, MS. In 2008, she founded Dove Spirit Ministries in Ridgeland, MS, and serves as CEO.
Betty's life is marked by service. She is currently a lifetime member in the NAACP, a volunteer at Matt's House Woman's Shelter in Jackson, Mississippi, and a volunteer at Hospice Ministries, Inc., in Ridgeland, MS. Her past volunteer work includes providing leadership as an officer and member of the Board of Directors of Hope Community Credit Union in Jackson, MS, the United Negro College Fund, and a member and chaplain of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., in Jackson, MS. Betty is currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors of At His Feet Ministries Inc., Jackson, Mississippi.
Betty is also a lifelong servant and learner. She is a seasoned nurse who had over forty years of experience before retiring in 2016. She was blessed to attend nursing school at Itawamba Community College and went directly into the nursing field. Prior to that, Betty received and completed all of her primary and secondary education in Mississippi.
Betty Simpson is a dynamic speaker who enjoys ministering to women and is a frequent guest speaker at women's programs, seminars, conferences, and retreats. Betty enjoys reading, cooking, writing, traveling, and spending time with her adult twin daughter
