About Betty
Betty Epp-Dixon is the wife of Pastor Lee E. Dixon. They are the proud parents of three beautiful arrows: Xylan, Dynasti, & Zipporah; the parents-in-love of Shai and Reggie; and the grandparents of of Karter, Alina, Kyran, and Erin. Betty has served in the following capacity in the past 20 years: street witnessing ministry, women’s ministry, marriage counselor, chaplaincy, youth ministry, and more recently servant-leader alongside her husband at Celebration Fellowship Church, IPHC.
Betty made an intentional and purposeful decision to sincerely follow Jesus Christ in 1999 and has been diligently seeking the Kingdom of God and fulfilling the great commission. Betty uses her gifts and talents to manifest the love of Christ to her community, city, state, and abroad in various ways, according to the leading of the Holy Spirit. She exercises her gifts at every opportunity, as she has been ordained by God to reach and teach the lost and captive, reconciling them to freedom, salvation, healing, and deliverance, all for the sake of the Kingdom of God through Jesus Christ. Betty maintains the mantra that “As believers, we shall work while it’s day, exercise our faith, and occupy until Christ returns.”
Betty has completed a ministry certificate program and several hours of Pastoral Care coursework. However, Betty’s vocation is educational teacher and administrator. She’s served various education programs as teacher/instructor, coordinator, curriculum specialist, research consultant, and director. Betty received an AA degree in English from Hinds CC; BA in English from Jackson State University; MAT in Secondary Education from Belhaven University; MS in Education Administration and Supervision from Jackson State University; PhD in HEAL from Capella University; and is currently in the final stage of her EdD in Executive Leadership from University of Phoenix with hopes of completion in 2024.
Betty’s greatest ministry and call is that of Family. She’s honored to be called wife, mother, and grandmother. “Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her (Prov. 31:28)."
